Acquisition of Aker Kværner Subsea AS FiFi Department

Please be informed that on November 16th 2007, Jason reached an agreement with Aker Kvaerner to acquire
it’s Firefighting Department.

Jason and Aker Kvaerner will work together to complete all orders placed with Aker Kvaerner, prior to the acquisition.
Jason will take over the production and distribution and Aker Kvaerner will withdraw from the market.

Regarding all on going activity where Aker Kvaerner is actually engaged; Aker Kvaerner remains the contractual partner
and stays responsible for the execution of all orders placed with Aker Kvaerner prior to the signing of the agreement.
Jason will be the direct contact for any new requests regarding the Fire Fighting industry including spare parts and service of the installed base.

Jason looks forward to offer a complete range of products for shipset solutions, meeting demands of the different class notifications. All major system components remain of Jason Eureka design, either completely manufactured by Jason or produced under Jason supervision.

Combined Jason and Aker Kvaerner have delivered a main share of the worlds classified firefighting installations. Now, with all components controlled by one supplier, a system is created to ensure continues and solid serving of new and existing customers in the best possible manner.
